We’re very excited to announce that we are looking for two new Picture News team members. We are a friendly, small team based in North Yorkshire.
At Picture News we make accessible, thought provoking educational news resources to help stimulate engaging discussion, challenge preconceptions and encourage the development of critical thinking skills.
Since our launch in 2016, we now have over 3,600 UK and international schools subscribed to our resources and we also produce content for the residential care market.
Both roles will be full time and permanent (following a 3-month probation period) and include 25 days holiday.
Picture News Education Consultant
Responsibilities will include: content writing for our weekly news resources, presenting our resources at meetings, leading webinars, exploring new business opportunities.
Essential attributes: A strong interest and awareness of current affairs, high standard of written English, excellent presenting skills, good communicator and able to use initiative.
Desirable attributes: Experience of working in education sector, sales experience.
Picture News Admin Support
- Responsibilities will include: sending marketing emails, answering the phone, packing poster tubes, proof-reading resources.
- Essential attributes: A strong interest and awareness of current affairs, high standard of written English, effective use of IT.
