Does music have the power to change our behaviour?

Share your thoughts and opinions about this week's story using the comments section below.

I think that it varies for certain people and at different times. If one loves listening to music, they may use it to make them happy or calm down when infuriated. However, if a person doesn't like to listen to music, they may use a different method to convert their behaviour.

Music has the power to INFLUENCE our behaviour not change it because only we can change because if my sister listens to hard music, she starts rapping not because she's being controlled but because it's her reaction.

Fanta - Age 10

I think music does change the way we behave. We also listen to different types of music by the different ways we feel. It depends whether it is music you like.

Elinor - Age 11

I don't think so because it is just music so it doesn't make sense for it to change your behaviour.

Oscar F - Age 10

yes it changes our behaviour, because when you start listening to music you get different emotions.

Lily - Age 11

I believe that music can change the way we behave, I have been playing the flute for a few years now, and I truly think that it has had an impact on my life. I also enjoy listening to music, which makes me feel calm.

Mali - Age 11

I think that music does have the power to change your behaviour because if you close your eyes all of your troubles go away like a feather in the wind

Emily-Rose - Age 10

I think music does have the power to change our behaviour because if it is calm music you will relax but if it is rock music than you will be jumping around the place
