Should pets be protected more than other animals?

I think both pets and other animals should be looked after the same amount because either the pets or animals won't have enough supplies.

No because if we protect our pets only we are not being fair to the other animals of the animal kingdom and also pets are basically domesticated animals so they act like regular animals.

I think, they are are more special to people because they own them and they have possibly been together for a long time. But all the same, they are still animals that are living and breathing.

I think that all animals should be treated the same as all animals are similar. In zoos any animals which are weird and wonderful are treated treated the same and treated like pets. As pointed out already all animals should be treated the same.

In my opinion, I disagree. I think that they should all be treated equally like we are. Just because other animals are wild, doesn't mean they should be treated differently to others, that's just how they live and protect their selves from us as they get scared of us.
