Should all children have free access to youth centres?

Share your thoughts and opinions about this week's story using the comments section below.

I think they should. Free access to youth centres would provide opportunities for children to be active - both mentally and physically. We are spending too much time socialising remotely (phones, games consoles) and not enough time actually speaking to one another.

Alfie Crago - Age 11

I think all children should have free access to youth centres because not all children have the same opportunities and it keeps us safe.

Billy - Age 9

Yes, all children should have free access to youth clubs because some people don't have allot of money to do extra clubs outside school.

Evie - Age 8

It’s a great place for people to get together and play. I think all children should have access and schools could advertise local ones so that children can meet their friends.

Isla Ruddock - Age 7

No, they cost a lot of money and not everyone will like to go.

Duncan - Age 7

I think in the country they should have them as there's not much to do.

Mia - Age 12

I think young people should vote to see what they would like. I don't think they would work in all areas.

Jane - Age 13

We think that everyone should have access but maybe they should pay a small amount to use.
